We stand on the shoulders of giants: the Guerreros, whose Lucha Libre lineage brought aerial artistry and fierce pride to generations; the Blanchard's, whose technical mastery and grit helped define the golden age; the Funks, whose toughness and tenacity made Amarillo a wrestling stronghold; the Rhodes family, whose charisma and creativity elevated wrestling into poetic drama; and the Von Erichs, whose name is etched into the soul of Texas wrestling. Their legacies live on in every lockup, every comeback, and every chant echoing through the arena tonight.
